RURAL & TRIBAL SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT
SAVE & CARE has long associated with corporate and has enabled them to connect with the children in the rural & tribal interiors of Tamil Nadu. Every year we conduct hundreds of activities, aimed at improving access to basic amenities such as hygiene and furniture’s amenities that we simply take for granted!
Many schools don’t have the toilets for girls, which results in a considerable drop of girl students. Most students, especially girls are also intimidated by the long distance commute to the school from their homes. Government schools struggle with proper infrastructure.
Join us on our journey as we take up our first goal – To ensure that every child, every school in India has access to digital education and to bring them at par with the rest of Country.
IMPLEMENTING SMART CLASSES IN RURAL & TRIBAL AREAS
Digital education excites students in rural areas. They take a better interest in attending schools and learning. Both teachers and students are at benefiting end. The population of children in India is huge, whereby 43 crores of children is estimated to belong to 0–18 years. All these children are the nation’s future and it is compulsory they are given the necessary education to realizing their true potentials. Through the modernized education system, their efforts can be channelized in this very direction. The NGOs come forward in achieving this motive by addressing the teaching-related concerns and provide digital education to the students.
FINANCIAL ASSITANCE TO ORPHAN CHILDREN
We provided financial support to needy students to make higher education attainable for students pursue their higher studies. We also provide scholarship support and materials support to them.
PROVIDING LEARNING MATERIALS TO GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS
Every year, we provided learning materials, play schools toys and eating plates, water drinking glasses, To Government Pre-primary schools in rural and tribal areas.
FREE TUITION SERVICE
We set up Community Development Centers in villages to benefit the poor Children, Youth, Women and especially abled in the community. We conduct Evening tuition centers, and Skill Development Programs to empower and to effect change within their communities. We actively involve them, build their confidence, bring out their potential to tackle their problems and come up with a solution. Currently we are taking evening tuition centres in panravedu and meyyur villages in tiruvallur district, tamil nadu, india.
SCHOOL DISCONTINUED STUDENTS RECOVERY INITIATIVE
Through this initiative we conduct interactive session with the students in the most backward community and find out the reasons for not going to school and take our steps to put them back to school. We understand that the lack of individual teacher attention and learning challenges of rural students led to poor learning in primary level. When these students go to middle school and beyond, they are unable to cope up and eventually drop out of high school.
